Varanasi

Hey world, just wanted to let you know that the team and I are now in Varanasi. This is the spiritual center of India for Hindus and Buddhist. Not to mention there are a lot of white hippies running around all over the place. The Indian shop keepers ask us if we want drugs after they are not successful with getting us to buy crap. I assume that many Westerners buy marajuana a lot here. hehehe. The Ganges river runs through this city and people go to worship there every night. They beleive that their sins are washed clean, ironacally in a river that carries most of the cities sewage. YUCK! They even brush there teeth in it. We have been here about a week and we are leaving on the 8th for Delhi. It's pretty hot again, but not humid like Kolkata so that's good. However, there are a about a billion trillion mosquitos. I havn't counted, but I think I must have at least 50 bites, most of which are on my feet. We just moved to this rad hotel where we are only paying 480 rupees a night for 2 or three people which is about 4 USD per person a day and it's a 4 star hotel! We had a day off today so I spent the morning eating breakfast in bed and then layed by the pool. In the afternoon I spoiled myself at the spa and got a manicure and a message....a very interesting experience. I almost don't feel like I am in India living here.
