Remarkable!

The Remarkable Mt. Range, Queenstown

Fun Times in Dunedin

Last week I took a bus down south to visit a friend from my DTS named Andrew. He goes to University in Dunedin and lives with 6 other flat mates. They were trying to conserve energy so their flat was a balmy 50 degrees F the whole time. brrrrr. I went to Andrews college ministry and met this kiwi girl Kate who will actually be a student on this years snowboarders DTS. She was selling her art to raise money for the school so I bought a painting. It's abstract, but I like it. The trip was short, but fun. I miss being a college student.
So here's some photos of my trip. Enjoy!
I was in Christchurch waiting for my bus so I figured I'd take a few pictures.

Life size chess, sweet eh?

The Dunedin coast.
This is where we saw some penguins, but I don't have a very good photograph.

There hasn't been this much snow in NZ in ages.
Here are the people I got a lift back to Christchurch with, a guy from Zimbabwe, a guy from Germany, and a Kiwi girl. Very multi-cultural.

Happy Fathers Day

I just want to say that my Dad is the greatest Dad in the whole world and I am so thankful to be his daughter. Here's a picture of my parents with me and my friend Scott at Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic Mountains. My parents came out to visit me before I left for New Zealand.

Don't forget to tell your Dad how great he is.

The First Big Snow

We woke up this morning to the power being out and about a foot of fresh snow on the ground. So we got creative and had some snowboard fun. This is Laura and Reto.

Above The Earth

Something I thought of today is that when things seem gloomy and unbearable from where you're at, it's nice to change perspectives. These was taken on my way down to LA where I'm hanging out with my friend Kelly.

SO, I've officially arrived in New Zealand and it is beautiful here. The people are friendly, the weather is nice, and it feels so good to be back at the Oxford YWAM base.
